Тhere are women whose stories cannot be defined by a single profession or achievement. Their true strength lies in the way they live—how they navigate change, build a family, raise children, and remain beautiful, feminine, creative, and open to the world. Lana Kaufman is one such woman: a Ukrainian, an artist, a wife, and a mother of four who one day walked away from her familiar life without ever losing herself.

WHEN BORDERS CHANGE, BUT VALUES DO NOT
Lana’s family had travelled to Florida for the children’s school break when the full-scale war broke out. They remained in the U.S. and began looking for a safe place where the children could continue their education.
That is how Lana ended up in Austin – a city she had never visited before, just as she had never been to Texas. With essentially just a single suitcase, she began building a new life in an unfamiliar environment.
Relocating always tests a person’s resilience – especially when you are a mother of four. You have to help them adapt, create a sense of home in a place that felt alien just yesterday, and support your family – all while finding space for your own personal growth.
Lana succeeded. Today, when you look at her, you don’t see a story about the loss of a familiar life. On the contrary, you see a story about a woman’s ability to rebuild her life – without abandoning the past or forgetting where she comes from, yet boldly embracing new horizons.

A WOMAN FOR WHOM FAMILY IS STRENGTH
Beyond her creative achievements, exhibitions, international projects, and beautiful photographs, there is another vitally important part of Lana’s life: her family. She is a wife and a mother of four. And perhaps it is here that her true feminine strength is best revealed – in her ability to balance multiple roles without losing herself in the process.
Her children are growing up in an international environment, playing sports, learning languages, and engaging with other cultures. Her daughter is already showing an interest in art and taking her first creative steps.
This is a special kind of legacy – passing on to one’s children not just knowledge or opportunities, but the ability to see beauty, create, and remain true to oneself, regardless of where one lives. For Lana, home has long since ceased to be merely a point on a map; home is the people you love.

BEAUTY AS AN ATTITUDE TOWARD LIFE
Lana is an incredibly beautiful and stylish woman. Her look is always feminine, modern, and confident. Yet, what truly stands out is something else: she is in excellent physical shape. And that speaks volumes about a person. After all, self-care is about more than just appearance; it is about discipline, respect for one’s body, energy, and the desire to live life to the fullest.
Raising four children, managing family life and creative pursuits, relocating and adapting to a new country, and pursuing a career—amidst such a hectic pace, it is all too easy to put oneself last.
Lana demonstrates a different path: being devoted to family while remaining true to herself as a woman; being a mother while holding onto her own dreams; being a wife while continuing her personal growth; and caring for others while remembering to care for herself.
Her style goes beyond mere clothing; it is a way of presenting herself to the world—with dignity, beauty, and inner confidence.

UKRAINE TRAVELING WITH HER
Living far from her homeland, Lana continues to share the story of Ukraine through her art. The sunflowers on her canvases are more than just vivid imagery; they are symbols embodying memory, love for her native land, and hope.
Over time, Lana’s work began to find an audience beyond Ukraine’s borders. Her pieces have been showcased on art platforms in various U.S. cities. Through her painting, she introduces viewers to Ukrainian culture and imagery, revealing the beauty and strength of her country to others.
In the autumn, Lana opened Lanas Cafe and Bistro – a venue where she introduces a broad American audience to Ukrainian cuisine and culture. She considers it a great honour to represent Ukraine in this way as well. The walls of the cafe-bistro feature Ukrainian paintings and among the special interior accents are items acquired at charity auctions involving musicians and artists who visit to raise funds for Ukraine.
Lana also continues to participate in charitable initiatives and support Ukrainians through her art. For her, this is both a great honour and a responsibility – an opportunity to channel her creativity into a good cause and be of service to the people and the country that remain close to her heart.
Lanas Cafe and Bistro also supports Ukrainian projects taking place both in the U.S. and in Ukraine. Thus, the personal story of this artist and entrepreneur becomes part of a much larger narrative – the story of Ukrainians living in every corner of the globe who continue to carry Ukraine with them.

A NAME WITHOUT BORDERS
Today, the concept of a successful woman is evolving. Success is no longer defined solely by professional status, the number of projects undertaken or international acclaim. It is also about the ability to navigate change without losing one’s inner anchor – to start over fearlessly, to support one’s family while continuing to grow personally.
It means remaining beautiful regardless of life’s circumstances because self-love has become an integral part of your lifestyle. It means remembering your roots while living far from your homeland, building your own business to introduce others to your country’s culture, and creating an environment filled with love.
That is precisely why Lana Kaufman’s story resonates so naturally within the international MILLENIUM CLUB project “A NAME WITHOUT BORDERS: TOP 50 SUCCESSFUL WOMEN – 2026”. Borders may define one’s country of residence, but they cannot define the magnitude of a person’s character.
Today, Lana is a Ukrainian woman making her mark on the wider world. She is an artist whose works travel across borders, speaking the universal language of emotions. She is an entrepreneur who introduces Americans to Ukrainian culture, cuisine, and hospitality through Lanas Cafe and Bistro. She is a woman who nurtures herself, embraces beauty, and continues to create. Her story serves as a reminder: true female strength does not always require loud declarations.
Sometimes, it simply looks like a woman who, after all the changes she has weathered, continues to love – her family, her country, her work, her life, and herself within it.
