Валентина Грішина поєднує професійну принциповість, внутрішню силу та людяність. У сфері військової адвокатури вона стала символом правової підтримки для тих, хто сьогодні захищає Україну. Її діяльність — це не лише про закон, а й про довіру, відповідальність і боротьбу за справедливість.

— Пані Валентино, у Ваших публікаціях дуже відчувається думка, що військова адвокатура сьогодні — це вже справжня місія. Коли Ви це усвідомили?
— Напевно, тоді, коли зрозуміла, що за кожною справою стоїть людська доля. Військовослужбовці та їхні родини сьогодні переживають надзвичайно складні емоційні та життєві обставини, тому їм потрібна не лише юридична допомога, а й впевненість у тому, що їх почують і підтримають. Саме це і стало для мене головним сенсом роботи.
— Які категорії військових справ сьогодні займають найбільшу частину Вашої практики?
— Сьогодні моя практика охоплює практично весь спектр питань, з якими стикаються військовослужбовці та члени їхніх сімей. Це справи щодо звільнення з військової служби за сімейними обставинами або станом здоров’я, супровід військовослужбовців у справах, пов’язаних із самовільним залишенням військової частини (СЗЧ), оскарження рішень військово-лікарських комісій, встановлення причинного зв’язку поранень, контузій і захворювань із проходженням військової служби.
Значну частину роботи становлять питання грошового забезпечення та соціальних гарантій військовослужбовців. Зокрема, це справи щодо виплати індексації грошового забезпечення за попередні роки, стягнення невиплачених додаткових винагород, компенсацій та інших належних виплат. Також представляю інтереси військовослужбовців у спорах, коли військові частини намагаються стягнути уже виплачене грошове забезпечення, посилаючись на нібито помилкове нарахування коштів.
Окремий напрям моєї роботи — захист прав поранених військовослужбовців і членів сімей загиблих Захисників України. Це питання отримання одноразової грошової допомоги у зв’язку з інвалідністю, зокрема виплати одного мільйона гривень військовослужбовцям віком до 25 років, які уклали контракт до введення воєнного стану, а також супровід сімей загиблих під час оформлення та отримання одноразової грошової допомоги у розмірі 15 мільйонів гривень та інших передбачених законом виплат.
Також веду справи щодо безвісти зниклих військовослужбовців, допомагаю родинам отримувати інформацію та документи, які часто неможливо отримати без юридичного супроводу. Йдеться про витребування наказів, розпоряджень, матеріалів службових розслідувань, довідок та інших документів, необхідних для захисту прав військових та їхніх близьких.
Крім судового захисту, значна частина роботи полягає у підготовці рапортів, звернень і скарг, супроводі процедури отримання статусу учасника бойових дій, роз’ясненні належних пільг і гарантій. Для мене важливо, щоб кожен військовослужбовець і член його сім’ї розумів свої права і міг їх ефективно реалізувати.
— Чи змінила повномасштабна війна роль адвоката в українському суспільстві?
— Однозначно. Сьогодні адвокат — це не лише представник інтересів у правничому полі.
Це людина, яка допомагає захищати права військових, підтримує їхні родини та часто стає для людей точкою опори у дуже складний період життя. І ця місія нині має особливе значення.
— Що для Вас означає бути жінкою у сфері військової адвокатури?
— Для мене це насамперед про професіоналізм і внутрішню силу. Сучасні українські жінки щодня доводять, що можуть бути успішними у будь-якій сфері. І військова адвокатура — не виняток. Головне — залишатися вірною своїм принципам і працювати чесно.
— Де Ви знаходите натхнення рухатися вперед?
— Мене мотивує розуміння того, що моя робота дійсно допомагає людям. А ще — віра в Україну, у наших людей та у справедливість, яка обов’язково повинна перемогти.

Valentyna Hrishyna: a voice of justice in the military bar

Valentyna Hrishyna combines professional adherence to principles, inner strength, and humanity. In the field of military advocacy, she has become a symbol of legal support for those who defend Ukraine today. Her work is not only about the law, but also about trust, responsibility, and the fight for justice.

— Mrs. Valentyna, the thougt that military advocacy today is a real mission is strongly felt in your publications. When did you realise this?
— Probably when I realised that there is a human destiny behind every case. Today, military personnel and their families are experiencing extremely difficult emotional and life circumstances, so they need not only legal assistance, but also the confidence that they will be heard and supported. This became the main meaning of my work for me.

— What categories of military cases occupy the largest part of your practice today?
— Today, my practice covers almost the entire spectrum of issues faced by servicemen and their families. These include cases of discharge from military service due to family circumstances or health conditions, support for servicemen in cases related to unwarranted leaving of a military unit, appealing decisions of military medical commissions, and establishing a causal connection between injuries, concussions, and illnesses and military service.
A significant part of my work is related to issues of financial support and social guarantees for military personnel. In particular, these are cases regarding the payment of indexation of financial security for previous years, the recovery of unpaid additional remuneration, compensation and other due payments. I also represent the interests of military personnel in disputes when military units try to recover already paid financial security, referring to the alleged erroneous accrual of funds.
A separate area of my work is protecting the rights of wounded servicemen and family members of fallen Defenders of Ukraine. This is the issue of receiving one-time cash assistance in connection with disability, in particular, the payment of one million hryvnias to servicemen under the age of 25 who entered into a contract before the introduction of martial law, as well as accompanying the families of the perished defenders during the registration and receipt of one-time cash assistance in the amount of 15 million hryvnias and other payments provided for by law.
I also handle cases of missing servicemen, helping families obtain information and documents that are often impossible to obtain without legal assistance. This includes obtaining orders, instructions, materials from official investigations, certificates, and other documents necessary to protect the rights of servicemen and their loved ones.
In addition to legal defense, a significant part of the work consists of preparing reports, appeals and complaints, supporting the procedure for obtaining the status of a combatant, explaining the appropriate benefits and guarantees. It is important to me that every serviceman and his family member understands their rights and can effectively realise them.

— Has the full-scale war changed the role of a lawyer in Ukrainian society?
— Definitely. Today, a lawyer is not only a representative of interests in the legal field.
This is a person who helps protect the rights of military personnel, supports their families, and often becomes a point of support for people in a very difficult period of life. And this mission is of particular importance today.

— What does being a woman in the military legal field mean to you?
— For me, it’s primarily about professionalism and inner strength. Modern Ukrainian women prove every day that they can be successful in any field. And military advocacy is no exception. The main thing is to remain true to your principles and work honestly.

— Where do you find inspiration to move forward?
— I am motivated by the understanding that my work really helps people. And also by faith in Ukraine, in our people, and in justice, which must surely overpower.
