«Все, що ми накопичуємо зовні, зникає… А з нами йде лише те, що ми зростили в серці»,
— ці слова дуже точно передають внутрішню опору Наталії КОХАН.
Вона — заступниця голови Шептицької районної ради Львівської області. У постійному русі, серед людей, у роботі, яка не знає пауз. Її день — це рішення, зустрічі, координація громад. Але головне — це присутність. Не в кабінетах, а поруч із людьми.
Її шлях починався не з політики. До місцевого самоврядування вона працювала завідувачкою медпункту на шахті «Відродження» ДП «Львіввугілля». Там, де щодня — відповідальність, біль і підтримка. Саме там формується головне: розуміння, що допомагати іншим — важливіше за все.
У 2020 році вона стала заступницею голови районної ради і разом із громадою пройшла через період змін, які з початком повномасштабної війни стали глибшими й болючішими.
Сьогодні її робота — це не лише управління. Це — участь у житті громади в час війни. Це — підтримка родин військових, увага до тих, хто втратив найдорожче. Це — тиха, але щоденна повага до Героїв, які віддали життя за Україну.

У своїй роботі вона керується не політичними гаслами, а цінностями — людяністю, вірою, внутрішньою чесністю. Її діяльність — це постійний рух: громади, школи, ініціативи, зустрічі.
Вона підтримує молодь, долучається до освітніх проєктів, адже серед головних пріоритетів — розвиток навіть у складні часи повномасштабної війни. Для неї важливо, щоб життя тривало і розвивалося, попри все.
Окремий вимір її життя — духовність. Вона поруч із людьми не лише в роботі, а й у молитві, у хвилинах втрат і надії. Бо живе спілкування — це завжди про віру, любов і вдячність. Особливо зараз.

FAITH, ACTION, DEVELOPMENT: NATALIIA KOKHAN’S DAILY SUPPORT FOR THE COMMUNITIES OF THE SHEPTYTSIA DISTRICT
“Everything we accumulate externally fades away… Only what we have nurtured in our hearts remains with us” — these words perfectly capture the inner strength of Nataliia KOKHAN.
The is the deputy chair of the Sheptytsia District Council in Lviv region. She is constantly on the move, among people, in work that knows no pause. Her day consists of decisions, meetings and coordinating communities. But the most important thing is her presence – not in offices, but alongside people.
Her journey did not begin in politics. Before entering local government, she worked as the head of the medical centre at the “Vidrodzhennia” mine, part of the “Lvivvuhillia” state enterprise – a place where every day brings responsibility, pain and support. It is there that the most important thing is formed: the understanding that helping others is more important than anything else.
In 2020, she became deputy chair of the district council and, together with the community, navigated a period of change that became more profound and painful with the outbreak of full-scale war.
Today, her work is not just about administration. It is about participating in community life during wartime. It is about supporting military families and caring for those who have lost their loved ones. It is about quiet but daily respect for the heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine.
She does not speak in grand terms, but her actions speak of remembrance, gratitude and responsibility towards people.
In her work, she is guided not by political slogans, but by values — humanity, faith and inner honesty. Her work is a constant journey: communities, schools, initiatives, meetings.
She supports young people and gets involved in educational projects, as one of her main priorities is development, even in the difficult times of full-scale war. For her, it is important that life goes on and develops, despite everything.
