— Пані Ольго, що для Вас означає голос?

— Голос для мене — це великий дар, це призначення, важливість якого я зрозуміла ще дитиною. Це мова, якою говорить моя душа, інструмент, за допомогою якого я можу донести світло, тепло, добро моїм неймовірним слухачам! А крім того, голос — це історія, бо кожна моя пісня — це маленьке життя, яке й складає частини історії.

— Що Ви відчуваєте, коли Ваш голос, голос українки, звучить на сценах світу?

— Я відчуваю велику гордість і натхнення від усвідомлення належності до української нації та культури. Люди мистецтва зазвичай несуть у світ добро та любов. Але ми, українці, ще даруємо йому чисту енергетику, ясні помисли, та, найважливіше — дух свободи. Тож я пишаюсь, що я — частина українського мистецтва: була, є і буду!

— Які музичні події або концерти цього року стали для Вас особливими?

— Таких подій за рік було дуже багато, але я хочу відмітити дві. Перша — «Шлягер року — 2025», 30-річний ювілей Шлягеру, який проходив у Жовтневому палаці в Києві. Я виступала там, і цей концерт ще й прийшовся на день мого народження. А друга подія — концерт в Базелі, в Університетському дитячому шпиталі, де лікуються наші діти, що постраждали після обстрілів Охматдіту. Цей захід був присвячений церемонії нагородження Орденом Святого Пантелеймона лікарів, що працюють з українськими дітьми І я була дуже горда і щаслива співати для цих неймовірних лікарів, для волонтерів, для людей, які вивозять на лікування українських дітей у важкому стані.

— Багато слухачів називають Ваш голос не просто красивим, а й лікувальним. У чому секрет Вашої емоційності та щирості?
— Все дуже просто! Я завжди знала, що моє призначення — нести світу та людям добро, любов, світло! Окрім того, мене дуже гарно виховали батьки, показавши, що таке справжні цінності в житті. І ще — я вірю в Бога, в те, що все у світі не випадково. Тож поєднання цих факторів і дає ту щирість, емоційність і наповненість, яку одразу відчувають слухачі.

— Що допомагає Вам зберігати гармонію, красу та внутрішнє світло?

— Мені завжди допомагає віра у Бога, у сенс, у життя та людей. Гармонію, як і належить, я шукаю і створюю в собі. Коли ти розумієш хто ти, навіщо прийшов у цей світ — тоді живеш у гармонії

— Яке місце музика займає у Вашому житті зараз? Що саме надихає Вас на цьому шляху?

— Музика — це моє життя! Сцена — це моє життя. Я знаю, навіщо я у цьому світі: я допомагаю людям, транслюючи їм світло, добро, любов і налаштовуючи їх на високі позитивні вібрації. Саме це мене дуже надихає!

— Які творчі плани чи мрії Ви хочете реалізувати у новому році?

— Найголовніша моя мрія — Перемога України! А потім я планую організувати велике світове музичне турне, в якому я разом з іншими діячами мистецтв будемо прославляти нашу Україну, глибше знайомити з її культурою. Планую багато нових пісень, виступів, кліпів, проєктів. І впевнена: все про що ми мріємо, обов’язково здійсниться!

I KNOW WHY I AM IN THIS WORLD

Нow can we maintain harmony in times that seem like utter chaos? How can you avoid getting lost in everyday life, stay inspired, and even share that inspiration with others? Today, we discuss this with a wonderful singer whose voice always reminds us of the strength of the Ukrainian soul, the tenderness of a woman’s heart, and the healing power of art. With a person who has been part of the MILLENIUM CLUB community for many years — our adornment and inspiration. With a woman who embodies culture, class, and inner style — Mrs. Olha BARBEN.

— Mrs. Olha, what does your voice mean to you?

— For me, my voice is a great gift, a calling whose importance I understood even as a child. It is the language my soul speaks, a tool with which I can convey light, warmth and goodness to my incredible listeners! What’s more, my voice is a story, because each of my songs is a little life that makes up parts of that story.
— How do you feel when your voice, the voice of a Ukrainian woman, is heard on stages around the world?

— I feel great pride and inspiration from the awareness of belonging to the Ukrainian nation and culture. People of art usually bring goodness and love to the world. But we, Ukrainians, also give it pure energy, clear thoughts, and, most importantly, the spirit of freedom. So I am proud that I am part of Ukrainian art: I was, am, and will be!

— Which musical events or concerts this year were special for you?

— There were many such events during the year, but I would like to mention two. The first was ‘Hit of the Year — 2025,’ a 30th anniversary celebration held at the October Palace in Kyiv. I performed there, and this concert also happened to be on my birthday. The second event was a concert in Basel, at the University Children’s Hospital, where our children who were injured after the shelling of Okhmatdyt are being treated. This event was dedicated to the awarding of the Order of St. Panteleimon to doctors working with Ukrainian children. I was very proud and happy to sing for these incredible doctors, for volunteers, for people who take Ukrainian children in serious condition for treatment.

— Many listeners describe your voice as not only beautiful, but also healing. What is the secret of your emotionality and sincerity?

— It’s very simple! I have always known that my purpose is to bring goodness, love and light to the world and to people! In addition, my parents raised me wonderfully, showing me what true values in life are. And also, I believe in God, in the fact that nothing in the world happens by chance. So, the combination of these factors gives me the sincerity, emotionality and fulfilment that listeners immediately feel.

— What helps you maintain harmony, beauty and inner light?

— My faith in God, in meaning, in life and in people always helps me. I seek and create harmony within myself, as it should be. When you understand who you are and why you came into this world, then you live in harmony.

— What place does music occupy in your life now? What exactly inspires you on this path?

— Music is my life! The stage is my life. I know why I am in this world: I help people by transmitting light, goodness and love to them and tuning them into high positive vibrations. That is what inspires me greatly!

— What creative plans or dreams do you want to realise in the new year?

— My biggest dream is Ukraine’s victory! And then I plan to organise a big world music tour, in which I, together with other artists, will glorify our Ukraine and introduce its culture to a wider audience. I am planning many new songs, performances, music videos and projects. And I am sure that everything we dream of will definitely come true!
