Картина здатна змінити настрій — саме тому відома українська художниця Людмила РЯБКОВА у своїх роботах свідомо обирає лише гармонійні, приємні для ока відтінки. Її надихає, як звичайні речі у живописі набувають нового звучання — яскравого, несподіваного, живого.

Нещодавно пані Людмила представила одну зі своїх робіт на престижному Міжнародному фестивалі мистецтва й талантів у Лондоні — Golden Time Talent Festival 2025. Чим є ця подія для України та самої мисткині? Про що її «Дика краса»? Над чим працює художниця нині? І найцікавіше — що стало поштовхом, аби заявити про себе світові? Про це — у нашій розмові!

— Пані Людмило, з якими очікуваннями подавали заявку на Міжнародний фестиваль мистецтва і талантів у Лондоні Golden Time Talent Festival 2025?
— Це було не стільки про очікування, скільки про внутрішню потребу поділитися своєю творчістю з ширшим світом. Я отримала офіційне запрошення до участі і сприйняла це як можливість, яку не можна пропустити. Хотілося, щоб мої роботи «заговорили» іншою мовою — мовою емоцій, кольору, фактури — до людей з різних куточків планети.
Це не просто конкурс — це справжнє міжнародне свято таланту, культури та мистецтва. Я мала честь представляти Україну в кількох напрямках: зокрема, взяла участь у Міжнародному з’їзді Global Talent Confederation 2025 — з’їзд лідерів культурного світу з 20 країн. Цей історичний захід став потужною платформою для обговорення спільних міжнародних проєктів, культурних обмінів, міжнародного просування талантів та розвитку партнерських зв’язків між представниками різних культур.
Також я представляла свою роботу у Shaw Theatre в серці Лондона, де отримала відзнаки. А ще взяла участь у виставці, що проходила на Triton Square. Бути серед лауреатів і найкращих артистів фестивалю — це не лише велика честь, а й натхнення рухатися далі.

— Світові Ви представили свою роботу «Дика краса». Що хотіли передати у цьому полотні? Як довго писали? Чому обрали таку назву?
— «Дика краса» — це про свободу бути собою, про силу, яка не прагне подобатися. Натхненням став звичайний реп’ях — скромна, але стійка рослина з характером. Його здатність чіплятися — буквально й метафорично — зворушила мене.
Назва картини народилася з її глибокого змісту. Я хотіла показати, що краса може бути дикою, гострою, справжньою — такою, що не прагне подобатися й не просить дозволу цвісти. Це історія про силу бути собою, про тих, хто йде власним шляхом, не приховуючи шипів. Полотно створювалося кілька тижнів — з увагою до кожної деталі, щоб передати не лише форму, а й внутрішній сенс.

— Як Вашу творчість оцінили за кордоном? Які відгуки отримали?
— Відгуки були дуже теплими! Багатьох здивувала тема, а ще більше — підхід: емоційна глибина у простому сюжеті. Було приємно чути, що робота викликає роздуми, асоціації, зворушує. Для мене це найкраща нагорода!
Ще одним визнанням стала відзнака, яку я отримала в категорії «Painting» — це надихає і додає впевненості в тому, що мистецтво справді знаходить відгук у серцях глядачів з різних країн.

— Чи багато українців долучилися до цієї міжнародної події?
— Так, участь брали й інші українці, багато з яких нині перебувають у вимушеній міграції. Ми маємо неймовірно талановитих митців і дуже важливо, щоб про них дізнавався світ. Також мала нагоду познайомитися з художниками з Латвії, Казахстану, Великобританії, Польщі, Азербайджану. Було представлено чимало сильних робіт, яскравих індивідуальностей і глибоких тем. Особливо цінним був обмін досвідом — мистецтво справді зближує, навіть попри мовні бар’єри.

— Що Вам дала участь у Golden Time Talent? Чи задоволені Ви результатом?
— Це був ще один крок назустріч світу. Я безумовно задоволена, бо головне — не тільки нагороди, а і те, що твоє мистецтво стає частиною глобального діалогу.
Особливо цінною стала участь у Міжнародному з’їзді Global Talent Confederation — це не просто подія, а простір для обміну ідеями та творчої взаємодії на міжнародному рівні. Найближчим часом стартує спільний проєкт, що виник саме під час з’їзду. Це для мене — найкраще підтвердження того, наскільки важливо відкриватися світові й бути частиною глобального мистецького діалогу.

— Які ще цілі маєте на це літо?
— Це літо для мене — час нових ідей, сміливих задумів і творчих рішень. Планую завершити кілька полотен із серії «Чарівні домівки» та «Абстрактні пейзажі», підготувати матеріали для каталогу робіт, а також підготуватися до своєї першої персональної виставки. Творчість не знає канікул — і це прекрасно!

— Пані Людмило, зараз Ви берете участь у натхненних проєктах, представляєте свої роботи світові, Вашими фото прикрашають обкладинки відомих журналів. Пригадаєте, що одного разу підштовхнуло Вас заявити про себе? Що порадите людям, які досі бояться ризикувати?
— Я добре пам’ятаю цей момент. Це була не миттєва рішучість, а радше накопичене відчуття: «якщо не зараз, то коли»? Я усвідомила, що ніхто не прийде й не скаже: «Ти готова». Треба просто зробити крок. А тим, хто вагається, пораджу: не чекайте на ідеальний момент. Ризик — це завжди про зростання. Навіть якщо спершу страшно, потім приходить неймовірне відчуття, що ви на своєму шляху.

LIUDMYLA RIABKOVA: «IT’S ALWAYS WORTH TAKING A STEP TOWARDS THE WORLD»

She believes that colours play a significant role in life. A painting can change your mood, so the famous Ukrainian artist Liudmyla RIABKOVA consciously chooses only harmonious, eye-pleasing shades in her works. She is inspired by how ordinary things in painting acquire a new sound — bright, unexpected, and lively.

Recently, Mrs. Liudmyla presented one of her works at the prestigious International Festival of Arts and Talents in London — Golden Time Talent Festival 2025. How significant is this event for Ukraine and the artist herself? What is her “Wild Beauty” about? What will the artist be working on in the near future? And most interestingly – what prompted her to announce herself to the world at one time? Find out about this from our conversation!

— Mrs. Liudmyla, what were your expectations when you applied for the Golden Time Talent Festival 2025 in London?

— It was not so much about expectations as about an inner need to share my creativity with the wider world. I received an official invitation to participate and took it as an opportunity that could not be missed. I wanted my works to “speak” in a different language – the language of emotions, colour, texture — to people from different corners of the planet.

This is not just a competition – it is a real international celebration of talent, culture, and art. I had the honour of representing Ukraine in several areas: in particular, I participated in the International Congress of the Global Talent Confederation 2025 – a congress of leaders of the cultural world from 20 countries. This historic event became a powerful platform for discussing joint international projects, cultural exchanges, international promotion of talents, and the development of partnerships between representatives of different cultures.

I also presented my work at the Shaw Theatre in the heart of London, where I received awards. I also took part in an exhibition held at Triton Square. Being among the laureates and best artists of the festival is not only a great honour, but also an inspiration to move forward.

— You presented your work «Wild Beauty» to the world. What did you want to convey in this painting? How long did it take you to paint? Why did you choose such a title?

— “Wild Beauty” is about the freedom to be yourself, about the power that does not seek to be liked. The inspiration was the common burdock – a modest but persistent plant with character. Its ability to cling – literally and metaphorically – touched me.

The title of the painting was born from its deep meaning. I wanted to show that beauty can be wild, sharp, and real – the kind that does not seek to be liked and does not ask for permission to bloom. This is a story about the power to be yourself, about those who follow their own path, not hiding their thorns. The canvas was created for several weeks – with attention to every detail to convey not only the form, but also the inner meaning.
— How has your work been appreciated abroad? What kind of feedback have you received?

— The reviews were very warm! Many viewers were surprised by the topic, and even more so by the approach: emotional depth in a simple plot. It was nice to hear that the work is thought-provoking, associations-provoking, and moving. For me, this is the best award!

Another recognition was the distinction I received in the “Painting” category — it inspires and gives me confidence that art really finds a response in the hearts of viewers from different countries.

— How many Ukrainians participated in this international event?

— Yes, other Ukrainians also participated, many of whom are currently in forced migration. We have incredibly talented artists, and it is very important that the world learns about them. I also had the opportunity to meet artists from Latvia, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Poland, Azerbaijan. Many strong works, bright individuals and deep themes were presented. The exchange of experience was especially valuable – art really brings people together, even despite language barriers.

— What did participating in Golden Time Talent give you? Are you satisfied with the result?

— It was another step towards the world. I am definitely satisfied, because the main thing is not only the awards, but also the fact that your art becomes part of the global dialogue.

Participation in the International Congress of the Global Talent Confederation was especially valuable – it is not just an event, but a space for exchanging ideas and creative interaction at the international level. A joint project will be launched in the near future, which arose during the congress. For me, this is the best confirmation of how important it is to open up to the world and be part of the global artistic dialogue.

— What other goals do you have for this summer?

— This summer for me is a time of new ideas, bold plans, and creative solutions. I plan to complete several paintings from the series «Magical Homes» and «Abstract Landscapes», prepare materials for a catalogue of works, and also prepare for my first personal exhibition. Creativity knows no vacations — and that’s great!

— Ms. Liudmyla, now you are participating in inspiring projects, presenting your work to the world, and your photos adorn the covers of famous magazines. Do you remember what once prompted you to declare yourself? What advice would you give to people who are still afraid to take risks?

— I remember that moment well. It wasn’t a momentary determination, but rather an accumulated feeling of, “If not now, then when?” I realised that no one was going to come along and say, “You’re ready.” You just had to take the step. And to those who are hesitating, my advice is not to wait for the perfect moment. Risk is always about growth. Even if it’s scary at first, then you get this incredible feeling that you’re on your way.
