Ukragroteh. Experience, Responsibility, and a Safety Culture Working for the Future
Nearly three decades in the field of industrial safety represent years of responsibility, complex decision-making, and the development of a unique professional approach. For Liudmyla Naivert, this field has never been a mere formality or a matter of paperwork; behind every decision, she sees human lives, the safety of industrial facilities, and the protection of territories. Today, this experience forms the foundation for the growth of Ukragroteh RPE LLC – a family business to which she has dedicated nearly 30 years of her life.
— Mrs. Liudmyla, we are delighted to welcome you to the pages of MILLENIUM CLUB! What drew you to the field of industrial safety, and what shaped your professional approach to working with high-hazard facilities?
— I have been working in the field of industrial safety for nearly 30 years. For me, this has never been merely a matter of preparing documentation; behind every calculation and decision lie the safety of the enterprise, human lives, and the protection of areas against the potential consequences of accidents.
From the very beginning, Ukragroteh RPE LLC was established as a family business – founded together with Oleksandr. We invested not only our professional expertise but also a vast part of our lives into the company, building the team, establishing professional principles, and shaping our reputation. Today, the responsibility for this enterprise rests entirely with me, and I feel a duty to preserve what has been created and ensure its continued development.
Over the years, we have worked with major enterprises across various Ukrainian industries and settled complex, non-standard problems. I have also served as an expert contributing to the improvement of Ukrainian legislation regarding high-hazard facilities. This experience has allowed me to view the system from a broader perspective –spanning everything from legislative regulations to their practical implementation at specific enterprises.
— Today, Ukragroteh is led by Yuliia Halich. How do your professional roles complement each other?
— It is particularly important to me that Mrs. Yuliia has advanced within Ukragroteh from an engineer to the head of the company. She knows our operations from the inside – understanding the technical processes, the nuances of working with clients, and the responsibilities borne by our specialists.
Today, I focus on technical leadership, complex professional challenges, methodology, and passing on my accumulated experience. Yuliia is responsible for operational management, organizing the team’s work, and the company’s development.
It is vital for me as the founder to see that the business to which I have dedicated nearly three decades of my life has a future. The combination of experience, professional continuity, and a fresh management vision enables Ukragroteh to continue its growth.
— Ukraine is adapting its technological safety system with European standards. How do you envision the future of this sector and the role of Ukragroteh?
— I see the future of technological security of Ukraine in the transition from the formal implementation of regulatory requirements to a modern risk management system. The European approach is first of all accident prevention: the danger must be detected in time, professionally assessed and everything possible must be done to prevent its realisation or minimise its consequences.
Ukraine is already moving along this path. It is important that European norms are not simply transferred into legislation, but work in practice taking into account our realities and accumulated experience.
This is where I see the role of «Ukragroteh». For almost 30 years, we have formed a strong professional school, accumulated unique practical experience of working with high-risk objects, and today we combine it with new European approaches. Our task is to help enterprises not just meet the requirements of the law, but to create a really effective security system.
I want the experience that we have accumulated for decades to work for the future of Ukraine, to be passed on to a new generation of specialists and to help shape a modern security culture where human life remains the highest value.
