Від сценічної елегантності ансамблю «Трускавчанка» до військового волонтерства, громадянської позиції та першого сольного альбому — творчий шлях Лесі Луців поєднує любов до українського слова, культури й рідної землі. Її сценічне ім’я LADY LEMBERG стало не просто псевдонімом, а творчим символом Львівщини та внутрішньої сили української жінки.

— Пані Лесю, Ваш псевдонім LADY LEMBERG звучить вишукано й водночас має глибокий зв’язок із Вашим корінням. Якою є його історія?
— Мій псевдонім виник невипадково. Я родом із Львівщини, а в моєму репертуарі є «Пісня про Львів». Саме тому хотілося, щоб сценічне ім’я відображало моє походження, характер і любов до рідного краю. У LADY LEMBERG поєдналися галицька елегантність, моя філологічна любов до слова та сценічний досвід в ансамблі «Трускавчанка», де я й відчула особливу культуру галицької сцени. Переїзд до столиці відкрив нові можливості для роботи зі словом, а прагнення доносити його красу до людей привело мене до вокальної діяльності. Так народилося сценічне ім’я LADY LEMBERG — «Львівська пані».
— Серед Ваших відзнак особливе місце посідають медаль «За розбудову України» та орден «Сила жінок». Який сенс вкладаєте в ці нагороди?
— Для мене вони особливо цінні, адже є відображенням не лише професійної, а й громадянської діяльності. Я військова волонтерка та координаторка Євромайдану, тому добре знаю, що справжня сила — це насамперед відповідальність і готовність діяти. Найбільше я ціную традиційні українські цінності — волю та право людини обирати власний шлях. Справжня сила української жінки, на мою думку, полягає в готовності захищати майбутнє своїх дітей і своєї країни. Сьогодні ми бачимо безліч жінок, які добровільно стали на захист України. Це і є сила, яку неможливо зламати.

— Незабаром слухачі почують Ваш перший сольний альбом «Пісні, що на часі» («Пісні про головне»). Яким він є за своїм настроєм і сенсами?
— У цьому альбомі я зібрала пісні, які розповідають про красу нашого рідного краю і про людей, які його боронять. Для мене це музична історія про Україну — красиву, сильну, незламну. Головна емоція, яку я прагнула передати, — віра в те, що ми обов’язково захистимо свою землю. Саме тому назва «Пісні про головне» має для мене особливе звучання: сьогодні головне — зберегти Україну, її свободу, культуру та майбутнє.

— Що сьогодні підтримує Ваш культурний і волонтерський фронт та який меседж прагнете залишити глядачеві?
— Мене підтримує віра в Україну та розуміння, заради чого ми боремося. Я хочу нагадувати: наше майбутнє залежить від кожного з нас. Культура, пісня, волонтерство — це теж фронт, на якому ми захищаємо свою ідентичність. Я вірю, що, об’єднавши зусилля, ми неодмінно здобудемо перемогу. І сьогодні мій головний меседж простий: любити Україну — означає не лише говорити про неї, а й робити все можливе заради її майбутнього.

Lesia Lutsyv: LADY LEMBERG — the Voice of Galicia, Sounding for Ukraine

From the stage elegance of the ensemble «Truskavchanka» to volunteerism, civic stance and her first solo album – Lesia Lutsyv’s creative path combines love for the Ukrainian word, culture and native land. Her stage name LADY LEMBERG has become not just a pseudonym, but a creative symbol of Lviv region and the inner strength of Ukrainian women.

— Mrs. Lesia, your pseudonym LADY LEMBERG sounds elegant and at the same time has a deep connection with your roots. What is its history?
— My pseudonym did not come about by chance. I come from Lviv region, and my repertoire includes “Song about Lviv”. That is why I wanted my stage name to reflect my origin, character and love for my native land. LADY LEMBERG combines Galician elegance, my philological love of Word and stage experience in the ensemble “Truskavchanka”, where I experienced the special culture of the Galician stage. Moving to the capital opened up new opportunities for working with words, and the desire to convey their beauty to people led me to vocal activity. This is how my stage name LADY LEMBERG — “Lady from Lviv” – came into being.

— Among your awards, the medal “For the Development of Ukraine” and the order “The Power of Women” hold a special place. What meaning do you put into these awards?
— For me, they are especially valuable, because they reflect not only professional, but also civic activity. I am a military volunteer and coordinator of Euromaidan, so I know well that real strength is, first of all, responsibility and willingness to act. What I value most is traditional Ukrainian values – the will and right of a person to choose their own path. The real strength of a Ukrainian woman, in my opinion, lies in the willingness to protect the future of her children and her country. Today we see many women who voluntarily stood up for the defense of Ukraine. This is the strength that cannot be broken.

— Soon, listeners will hear your first solo album, ”Timely Songs” (“Songs about the Main Things”). What is its mood and meaning?
— In this album, I have collected songs that tell about the beauty of our native land and about the people who defend it. For me, this is a musical story about Ukraine — beautiful, strong, and inviolable. The main emotion that I sought to convey is the belief that we will definitely protect our land. That is why the title “Songs about the Main Things” has a special sound for me: today the main thing is to preserve Ukraine, its freedom, culture and future.

— What does your cultural and volunteer front support today and what message do you want to leave with the viewer?
— I am supported by faith in Ukraine and understanding what we are fighting for. I want to remind you: our future depends on each of us. Culture, song, volunteering are also the fronts on which we defend our identity. I believe that by joining efforts, we will certainly win. And today my main message is simple: loving Ukraine means not only talking about it, but also doing everything possible for its future.
