— Валентино, Ви вже стали постійною гостею журналу MILLENIUM CLUB, і щоразу наші зустрічі відображають новий етап Вашого професійного шляху. З якими здобутками, перемогами та новими сенсами Ви сьогодні повертаєтеся до наших читачів?

— За час, що минув після нашої попередньої розмови, моя практика стала ще більш насиченою та відповідальною. Сьогодні я працюю над справами, які стосуються не лише цивільного чи адміністративного права, а й захисту прав військовослужбовців, членів їхніх сімей, спадкових, сімейних і житлових спорів. У кожній із цих категорій за юридичними документами стоять людські долі, і саме це додає професії особливого змісту.

Для мене головним досягненням є не кількість виграних справ, хоча їх чимало, а довіра людей, які звертаються за допомогою. Найбільшою цінністю залишається можливість відновити справедливість, навіть коли клієнт уже майже втратив надію. Саме такі результати ще раз переконують мене, що професія адвоката — це насамперед відповідальність перед людиною.

— У своїй практиці Ви працюєте з різними категоріями справ, кожна з яких має власну специфіку та рівень відповідальності. Який із нещодавніх професійних кейсів став для Вас особливо знаковим і ще раз підтвердив, що наполегливість адвоката здатна змінити людську долю?

— Одним із таких кейсів стала справа щодо захисту прав військовослужбовця та його родини. Після відмови державного органу в реалізації законного права ми детально проаналізували всі обставини, підготували ґрунтовну правову позицію та довели її в суді. Це була складна справа, яка вимагала не лише знання законодавства, а й уважного аналізу судової практики та роботи з великою кількістю доказів.

Саме такі справи нагадують, що адвокат має бути не просто представником у суді, а людиною, яка здатна знайти рішення навіть тоді, коли ситуація здається безвихідною.
— Сучасна адвокатська діяльність потребує не лише глибоких знань законодавства, а й уміння швидко реагувати на зміни. Які професійні виклики сьогодні Ви вважаєте найскладнішими і що допомагає Вам завжди залишатися на крок попереду?

— Сьогодні право змінюється дуже швидко, особливо в умовах воєнного стану. Постійно оновлюється законодавство, формується нова судова практика, з’являються категорії спорів, яких раніше фактично не існувало. Для адвоката недостатньо лише знати закон — необхідно постійно навчатися, аналізувати практику Верховного Суду, бути готовим швидко адаптувати свою правову стратегію.

Саме постійний професійний розвиток, дисципліна та любов до своєї справи дають змогу залишатися ефективною та пропонувати клієнтам найкращі правові рішення.

— За роки практики Ви неодноразово доводили, що сильна юридична позиція будується не лише на знанні закону, а й на стратегічному мисленні. Що, на Вашу думку, сьогодні найбільше вирізняє справді сильного адвоката?

— На мою думку, сильний адвокат — це не той, хто знає найбільше статей законів. Це фахівець, який уміє мислити стратегічно, бачити справу комплексно, прогнозувати її розвиток і завжди діяти в інтересах клієнта.

Не менш важливими є чесність, відкритість і відповідальність. Я завжди кажу клієнтам правду, навіть якщо вона не збігається з їхніми очікуваннями. Саме така відвертість формує довіру, без якої неможливо побудувати ефективну співпрацю.

— Чи є справа, яку Ви назвали б своєю особистою професійною перемогою — не через її резонансність, а через той досвід і внутрішнє зростання, які вона Вам подарувала?

— Такі справи є. Найціннішими для мене стають не ті, що отримують широкий розголос, а ті, після яких людина повертає віру в справедливість. Коли клієнт приходить із переконанням, що шансів уже немає, а в результаті вдається захистити його права, — саме це я вважаю справжньою професійною перемогою.

Кожна така справа робить мене сильнішою як адвоката, навчає уважніше слухати людей, глибше аналізувати ситуацію та ще більше цінувати відповідальність, яку несе наша професія.

— Юридична професія вимагає максимальної концентрації, витримки та емоційної стійкості. Де Ви знаходите ресурс, який допомагає приймати складні рішення, зберігати баланс і залишатися ефективною навіть у найнапруженіші періоди?

— Ресурс для мене — це передусім родина, яка завжди підтримує, а також усвідомлення того, що моя робота справді допомагає людям. Крім того, я постійно навчаюся, беру участь у професійних заходах, аналізую нову судову практику. Для адвоката розвиток ніколи не припиняється.

Також важливо вміти хоча б ненадовго переключатися від роботи, щоб зберігати ясність мислення. Адже найкращі рішення часто приходять тоді, коли вдається подивитися на проблему під іншим кутом.

— Якщо зазирнути у майбутнє української адвокатури, якою Ви бачите її через п’ять років? Які зміни, на Вашу думку, визначатимуть розвиток професії та формуватимуть нове покоління українських адвокатів?

— Я переконана, що українська адвокатура стане ще сучаснішою, технологічнішою та більш спеціалізованою. Уже сьогодні цифровізація суттєво змінює юридичну професію, але водночас жодні технології не замінять головного — професійного мислення, етичності та особистої відповідальності адвоката.

Мені хотілося б, щоб через п’ять років українська адвокатура асоціювалася не лише з високим рівнем правничої допомоги, а й із беззаперечною довірою суспільства. Адже саме довіра є фундаментом професії, яка покликана захищати права людини та принцип верховенства права.

In the time since our last meeting, new challenges have arisen, new professional victories have been achieved and new stories have emerged, proving once again that a lawyer’s true strength lies not only in a thorough knowledge of the law, but also in the ability to find solutions where others see only obstacles. Today, we continue this conversation — about professional responsibility, trust, the modern legal profession, and values that remain constant regardless of the times.

— Valentyna, you have now become a regular guest of MILLENIUM CLUB magazine, and each time we meet, it marks a new stage in your professional journey. What achievements, successes and new insights are you coming back to our readers with today?

— Since our last conversation, my practice has become even busier and more responsible. Today, I work on cases relating not only to civil or administrative law, but also to the protection of the rights of military personnel and their families, as well as inheritance, family and housing disputes. In each of these areas, human destinies lie behind the legal documents, and it is precisely this that gives the profession its special meaning.

For me, the main achievement is not the number of cases won – although they are numerous – but the trust of the people who turn to me for help. The greatest value remains the opportunity to restore justice, even when a client has almost lost hope. It is precisely these results that convince me once again that the legal profession is, first and foremost, a responsibility towards people.

— In your practice, you deal with various types of cases, each with its own specific characteristics and level of responsibility. Which of your recent professional cases has been particularly significant for you and has once again demonstrated that a lawyer’s perseverance can change a person’s life?

— One such case involved defending the rights of a serviceman and his family. Following a state body’s refusal to uphold a lawful right, we analysed all the circumstances in detail, prepared a well-founded legal argument and successfully presented it in court. It was a complex case that required not only knowledge of the law, but also a careful analysis of court practice and the work with a large volume of evidence.

It is precisely such cases that remind us that a lawyer must be not merely a representative in court, but someone capable of finding a solution even when the situation seems hopeless.
— Modern legal practice requires not only a thorough knowledge of the law, but also the ability to respond quickly to changes. What professional challenges do you consider to be the most difficult today, and what helps you to always stay one step ahead?

— Today, the law is changing very rapidly, particularly under martial law. Legislation is constantly being updated, new court practice is being formed, and categories of disputes are emerging that previously did not exist. It is not enough for a lawyer simply to know the law — they must constantly learn, analyse the practice of the Supreme Court, and be prepared to adapt their legal strategy quickly.

It is precisely this continuous professional development, discipline and passion for my work that enable me to remain effective and offer our clients the best legal solutions.

— Over the years of your practice, you have repeatedly demonstrated that a strong legal case is built not only on knowledge of the law, but also on strategic thinking. In your opinion, what is the main characteristic of a truly strong lawyer today?

— In my view, a strong lawyer is not simply someone who knows the most legal provisions. It is a professional who can think strategically, view a case holistically, anticipate how it will proceed, and always act in the client’s best interests.

Honesty, openness and responsibility are no less important. I always tell clients the truth, even if it does not match their expectations. It is precisely this candour that builds trust, without which it is impossible to establish effective cooperation.

— Is there a case that you would describe as your own personal professional victory — not because of its resonance, but because of the experience and personal growth it has brought you?

— Cases like this do happen. For me, the most valuable cases are not those that receive widespread publicity, but those that restore a person’s faith in justice. When a client comes to me convinced that there is no chance of success, and we ultimately manage to protect their rights — that is what I consider a true professional victory.

Every case like this makes me a stronger lawyer, teaches me to listen more carefully to people, analyse situations more deeply, and appreciate even more the responsibility that our profession carries.

— The legal profession demands the utmost concentration, endurance and emotional resilience. Where do you find the strength to make difficult decisions, maintain your balance and remain effective even during the most stressful periods?

— For me, my source of strength is, first and foremost, my family, who always support me, as well as the realisation that my work genuinely helps people. In addition, I am constantly learning, taking part in professional events and analysing new court practice. For a lawyer, professional development never stops.

It’s also important to be able to switch off from work, even if only for a short while, to keep a clear head. After all, the best solutions often come when you manage to look at a problem from a different angle.

— Looking ahead to the future of the Ukrainian bar, how do you envisage it in five years’ time? What changes, in your opinion, will determine the development of the profession and shape the new generation of Ukrainian lawyers?

— I am convinced that the Ukrainian advocacy will become even more modern, technologically advanced and specialised. Digitalisation is already significantly transforming the legal profession, but at the same time, no technology can replace what matters most — a lawyer’s professional mindset, ethical standards and personal responsibility.

I would like to see the Ukrainian advocacy in five years’ time associated not only with a high standard of legal assistance, but also with the unquestioning trust of society. After all, it is trust that forms the foundation of a profession dedicated to protecting human rights and the principle of the rule of law.
