Як продовжувати свою справу в іншій країні? Як не загубити себе та стійко витримати всі удари від життя? Та як втративши те, що створювалось роками, почати спочатку?
Про це та інше ми поговоримо з косметологинею та власницею студій/салонів краси Людмилою Гладун. Це людина, яка добре знає, що таке підприємництво. Адже її бізнес працює вже понад 19 років.

— Пані Людмило, Ваш шлях в індустрії краси розпочався ще в далекому 2007 році в прикордонному місті Білопілля на Сумщині. Наступним етапом Вашого життя було відкриття студії краси в Сумах. Після початку повномасштабного вторгнення продовжили професійний шлях уже в німецькому Кельні. Розкажіть, як Вам вдалося продовжити свій шлях у Німеччині? Що стало Вашою опорою та де знаходили натхнення для роботи?

— Якщо бути відвертою, цю опору я іноді й досі шукаю. Бо так різко і не за власним бажанням, а через необхідність, змінити своє життя — це складно. До цього непросто звикнути.

Я завжди вміла бачити красу навколо себе, але в перші місяці після переїзду не могла знайти її ні в людях, ні на вулицях, ні в житті. Зібратися з силами було, м’яко кажучи, складно.

Проте, виїхавши у 2022 році із Сум, я не мала іншого вибору, окрім як розвивати свою справу там, де опинилася, — у Німеччині. Хоча свою діяльність в Україні не припинила і досі. Я продовжую керувати своїм косметологічним кабінетом у Сумах, а також салоном краси у рідному Білопіллі.

Наразі я живу поміж двома країнами — Україною та Німеччиною. І, можливо, саме те, що я часто приїжджаю в Україну, на рідну землю, повертаюсь додому — це і є моєю головною опорою. А головним моїм натхненням є моя професія і люди, що мене оточують.

— Яким був Ваш перший крок до роботи за кордоном і що стало головною мотивацією не шукати нову професію, а продовжити займатися улюбленою справою?

— Моя професія — це те, що я вмію найкраще. Тож навіщо її змінювати? Люди в усьому світі хочуть бути гарними та доглянутими, особливо це стосується жінок.

Починала я з невеликого кабінету, а потім відкрила свій салон краси в Кельні. Роки роботи в Україні подарували мені багато вдячних клієнтів. І завдяки так званому сарафанному радіо вдалося сформувати коло постійних клієнтів і за кордоном.

Я підтвердила свою кваліфікацію, здобула диплом майстра-косметолога. Зараз маю великий салон у центрі Кельна. У ньому працюють прекрасні жінки, які так само через війну були змушені починати все з нуля.

— Ми знаємо, що, окрім роботи в beauty-індустрії, Ви цікавитесь психологією. Чи є певна специфіка у роботі та спілкуванні з жінками?

— Так, я вивчала психологію і зараз планую здобути диплом психолога. Крім того, я завжди із задоволенням спілкуюся з людьми. Серед них багато жінок, які пережили складні життєві обставини. До прикладу, які пережили окупацію. Ці жінки дуже сильні, з величезною силою духу. Вони вже добре знають, що в житті дійсно важливе, а що — вторинне.

— Чи відрізняються побажання клієнтів в Україні та Німеччині? Які запити сьогодні найактуальніші?

— Так, дуже відрізняються. Навіть поняття косметології теж різниться. У нас це зазвичай про здоров’я та доглянутість, а там — більше про декоративність. Крім того, німці дуже орієнтовані саме на апаратну косметологію. Для них наявність ультразвуку чи чогось подібного — це своєрідний показник якості роботи.

Тому вони дуже дивуються, коли після апаратних процедур застосовую інші методики, і результат їх просто вражає. А наші люди звикли більше довіряти майстру. Тому і працювати з ними легше, а результат швидший та кращий. Але головний фокус уваги незалежно від країни, все таки на здоров’ї шкіри.

— Ваше гасло — «Не втрачати себе і свою жіночність навіть у режимі виживання». Що стоїть за цими словами?

— Для мене це означає посміхатися, не піддаватися паніці, не агресувати. Якщо я не можу вплинути на ситуацію, то намагаюсь не хвилюватись і зберігати внутрішню рівновагу. Водночас ніколи не зраджувати своїм цінностям і насамперед собі.

— Яку пораду Ви дали б українським жінкам?

— Завжди залишатися в гармонії із собою.

Пам’ятати, наскільки вони сильні внутрішньо. Бути оптимістками та зберігати ту неймовірну красу, яка вирізняє українських жінок у будь-якій країні світу.

Наші люди неймовірно красиві. І це особлива генетична сила — сила українського Роду. Саме вона дарує українській жінці і красу, і неймовірну силу духу. Цей дар треба берегти!

Liudmyla Hladun: «My land is my strength and my inspiration»

Нow to continue your business in another country? How not to lose yourself and steadfastly withstand all the blows of life? But how, having lost what has been created over the years, to start over?
We will talk about this and other things with cosmetologist and owner of beauty studios/salons Liudmila Hladun. She is a person who knows what entrepreneurship is. After all, her business has been operating for over 19 years.

— Mrs. Liudmyla, your journey in the beauty industry began way back in 2007 in the border town of Bilopillia in the Sumy region. The next stage of your life was opening a beauty salon in Sumy. After the full-scale invasion began, you continued your professional career in Cologne, Germany. Tell us, how did you manage to continue your career in Germany? What gave you support and where did you find inspiration for your work?

— To be honest, I still sometimes look for this support. Because changing your life so abruptly and not by your own will, but out of necessity, is difficult. It is not easy to get used to it.

I have always been able to see beauty around me, but in the first months after moving I could not find it either in people, on the streets, or in life. Gathering my strength was, to put it mildly, difficult.

However, after leaving Sumy in 2022, I had no choice but to develop my business where I ended up — in Germany, although I have not stopped my activities in Ukraine to this day. I continue to manage my cosmetology office in Sumy, as well as a beauty salon in my native Bilopillia.

Currently, I live between two countries – Ukraine and Germany. And, perhaps, the fact that I often come to Ukraine, to my native land, return home – this is my main support. And my main inspiration is my profession and the people around me.

— What was your first step towards working abroad and what was the main motivation for you not to look for a new profession but to continue doing what you love?
— My profession is what I can do best. So why change it? People all over the world want to be beautiful and well-groomed, especially women.

I started with a small office, and then opened my own beauty salon in Cologne. Years of work in Ukraine gave me many grateful clients. And thanks to the so-called word of mouth, I managed to form a circle of regular clients abroad.

I confirmed my qualifications, received a diploma as a master cosmetologist. Now I have a large salon in the centre of Cologne. It is staffed by beautiful women who were also forced to start everything from scratch because of the war.

— We know that, in addition to working in the beauty industry, you are interested in psychology. Are there any specifics in working and communicating with women?

— Yes, I studied psychology and now I plan to get a degree in psychology. In addition, I always enjoy communicating with people. Among them are many women who have experienced difficult life circumstances. For example, who survived the occupation. These women are very strong, with enormous strength of spirit. They already know very well what is really important in life and what is secondary.

— Do the wishes of customers in Ukraine and Germany differ? What requests are most relevant today?

— Yes, they are very different. Even the concept of cosmetology is different. In Ukraine it is usually about health and be well-groomed, and in Germany it is more about decorativeness. In addition, the Germans are very focused on hardware cosmetology. For them, the presence of ultrasound or something like that is a kind of indicator of the quality of work.

Therefore, they are very surprised when after hardware procedures I use other methods, and the result simply amazes them. And our people are used to trusting the master more. Therefore, working with them is easier, and the result is faster and better. But the main focus of attention, regardless of the country, is still on skin health.

— Your motto is “Don’t lose yourself and your femininity even in survival mode.” What is behind these words?

— For me, this means smiling, not panicking, not being aggressive. If I can’t influence the situation, I try not to worry and maintain inner balance. At the same time, it means never betraying my values and, above all, myself.

— What advice would you give to Ukrainian women?

— Always stay in harmony with themselves.

Remember how strong they are internally. Be optimistic and preserve that incredible beauty that distinguishes Ukrainian women in any country in the world.

Our people are incredibly beautiful. And this is a special genetic force – the force of the Ukrainian Family. It is it that gives the Ukrainian woman both beauty and incredible strength of spirit. This gift must be protected!
