Професійний шлях Віталія Романчукевича розпочався у Національному банку України, де він понад десять років працював у сфері монетарної політики та фінансової стабільності. Надалі, обіймаючи керівні посади у банківському секторі та наглядових радах державних і приватних компаній, він активно впроваджував сучасні стандарти корпоративного управління, ризик-менеджменту та стратегічного розвитку.
Вагомим напрямом його діяльності є громадська місія. Очоливши Всеукраїнський фонд імені Олеся Гончара, він ініціював реалізацію проєктів з відновлення культурної та історичної спадщини України, розвитку культурної дипломатії та міжнародної співпраці. Професійні досягнення Віталія Романчукевича відзначено на національному рівні. Він є лауреатом загальнонаціональної програми «Людина року» у номінації «Фінансист року», переможцем у номінації «Банкір року», а також відзначений спеціальною нагородою пам’яті Вадима Гетьмана за внесок у розвиток фінансового сектору України. Обраний академіком Української академії наук та Академії економічних наук України.

Vitalii ROMANCHUKEVYCH (born on 28 January 1985 in the town of Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk Region) is a representative of a new generation of Ukrainian leaders, combining professional expertise in the financial sector, scientific activity and an active civic position.
Doctor of Economics, Professor in the Department of Banking and Insurance at Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, First Vice-President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC “European Industrial Bank”, Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of JSC “Kharkivoblenergo”, Head of the All-Ukrainian Oles Honchar Foundation for the Restoration of Outstanding Monuments of Historical and Architectural Heritage — Vitalii Romanchukevych consistently applies the principles of responsible leadership in the financial, public and community spheres.
Vitaliy Romanchukevych’s professional career began at the National Bank of Ukraine, where he worked for over ten years in the field of monetary policy and financial stability. Subsequently, whilst holding senior positions in the banking sector and on the supervisory boards of state-owned and private companies, he actively implemented modern standards of corporate governance, risk management and strategic development.
A significant focus of his work is his public service. As head of the All-Ukrainian Oles Honchar Foundation, he has initiated projects aimed at restoring Ukraine’s cultural and historical heritage, as well as developing cultural diplomacy and international cooperation. His work is dedicated to uniting the state, business and society to build a sustainable future for Ukraine.
Alongside his managerial duties, Vitalii Romanchukevych is actively involved in the fields of education and science, shaping a new generation of financial specialists and leaders. His scientific research focuses on the modernisation of financial policy, sustainable development and the strengthening of the country’s economic stability. He is the author of over 53 academic publications.
Vitaliy Romanchukevych’s professional achievements have been recognised at national level. He is a laureate of the nationwide “Person of the Year” programme in the ‘Financier of the Year’ category, a winner in the “Banker of the Year” category, and has also been awarded a special prize in memory of Vadym Hetman for his contribution to the development of Ukraine’s financial sector. He has been elected a member of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine.
